We have rolls- in a good way!

We would like to send out a special thanks to Logan’s Roadhouse in Southaven, MS for donating rolls for the Desoto County Christmas Crusade!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We have had some very generous donations for our stocking stuffer gift boxes! Thank you very much!

10 more days!

Update 12/13/11

We do not have any more families that need to be adopted! We are helping twenty one families.

We are about $2,000 short of our $10,000 budget. If our goal is not met, we will continue the project without buying coats and shoes for the parents. It’s an unfortunate cut, but we are doing this mainly for the kids. We will continue to work towards our goal. Remember, donations may be made to the Desoto County Christmas Crusade at any First Tennessee or Bancorp South location.

We are still in need of wrapping supplies including boxes (all sizes), wrapping paper, tape, and bows. We have over 60 coats and as many shoes. The materials will be needed Monday, December 19th for our wrap party in the Horn Lake High School cafeteria at 11:00 am. Everyone is invited!

Don’t forget that this Sunday is our “Drop day” in the Horn Lake High School parking lot from 11:00-2:00pm. We will be accepting monetary donations as well as gifts for kids ages 3 months- 21 years. Remember that the majority of  our 60 plus kids are teenagers. Bring your family and friends! See you there!

Update

Supporters,

We only have one family left who needs to be “adopted.” Remember, when you adopt a family, you are only responsible for buying gifts for the family to open, not coats, shoes, or the meal.

We are $2,360.00 short of our $10,000 goal. Please consider contributing to the Christmas Crusade. You may drop off cash donations or checks made out to the “Christmas Crusade” at any First Tennessee bank or the Horn Lake High School office. Receipts are available.

Stocking Stuffers

We are trying to fill these boxes with stocking stuffers for the Christmas Crusade. Remember that our program focuses on teenagers, but younger and older siblings are included. Click here for a printable gift suggestion list.

If you would like to donate, you may drop off donations in the Horn Lake High School office by December 16th.  You may also drop off donations on Sunday, December 18th a in the Horn Lake High School parking lot of  between 11:00-2:00.

We are providing Christmas for 28 adults and over 60 children in Desoto County!
